1983 DL Fuel Relay 200

Hello fellow Volvo People,
I removed my two Fuel Relays today to check them because my
240 stalls on hot days and then starts up again after resting
a while. I noticed that they have spots of rust on the outside
of the cubes. When I was returning them to their location,
I was tucking them up behind the passenger foot area when I
hear and saw a spark.
I think one of them touched the metal prong that the plastic plugs
clip to to hold the carpet in place. This shorted the 25 amp fuse
that sits next to the battery. Do these two cubes just get tucked
up behind the carpet or do they clip somewhere? The cubes have
clips on them that seem that they are supposed to hold/clip somewhere.

Please advise and Thank You,
Joseph in New Mexico
