Humidity? 700 1987

LOL we are the only two folks on the Brickboard this morning. And the South? I live in rural Western NC. It's a temperate rainforest.

I have 250k on my odometer, so I don't know if I ought to do anything or what. I don't have unusual engine noise (the engine is consistent... tactactactactac... but it sounds like valve noise or piston slap, or a funky exhaust manifold gasket, nothing scary). The mileage is good and the exhaust doesn't smell. The engine revs smoothly and has ok power, I think. My last ignition-components tuneup made a heck of a difference.

So I will install the breather box at the earliest possible moment and see if I still have the problem. Past that, it seems that a rebuild would be the only option.

Thanks for the help,

Ari
