Shaking front end when turning wheel 900 1993

I recently had my wagon towed on a flatbed when the starter failed. after replacing the starter I turned the car on and when i turned the wheel to back up the whole front end started suddering pretty badly. It happens more when turning left than right but happens either way, it happens whether stationary or in motion. I checked the belt to see if it was just slipping over the power steering but it isnt. I am afraid that they broke something when they hoisted it onto the flat bed. Does anyone have any ideas?
