VIN Decoding? 120-130

Is there any source/database to locate the original equipment that Volvo bolted on a specific car using the VIN?

There are some excellent databases out there for production numbers, etc. on vintage volvos, but they aren't specific enough to tell me what my car actually had when it came off the assembly line. I'm sorting out the brakes and I think the master cylinder currently on the car is wrong. There was a remote brake booster but it was disconnected. Any help?

I'm new to Brickboard and I'm probably asking a question that was asked years ago...sorry!

Pat.
