Original shocks at over 260K miles? help!

Can anyone let me know ... if they think these are the original shocks? I've been thinking about replacing them, and I would like to know. Obviously the leaking oil is bad, M'kay?
It's on my frankencar'ed 740 (didn't do it!) and ... wow. oil all over them, which has obviosuly been there a long time.
They are sky blue, seem to be fairly intact, the rear sags a lot, and I think it's more due to shocks than springs, and the upper cap is sort of soft and dark blue or black. Solid rear axle. ask me anything about it and I'll answer!

Thanks!
