dreaded blower motor ... 200 1986

I believe the blower motor in my 86 245 is bad. At first, I was hoping it was simply something stuck in the blades from the vehicle sitting for a while (I bought it a few weeks ago, don't know how long it had been in the dealer's back lot).

Anyway, I have seen reference to rebuilds with ball bearings, although I can't find any recent reference to these in search. Are these still available? Where can you get one? If they aren't, what is the best motor available at reasonable cost?

I don't want to have to do this more than once. And, seeing as it is over 100-degrees here every day, what is a reasonable cost for labor if I choose that route?

Thanks again for all the help and advice as I delve further into Volvo obsession ...
