Original shocks at over 260K miles? help!

I had just about 260K miles on my car when I replaced the Original Shocks. There were no leaks just the upper skirt was rotting a bit. Bought new shocks, pushed and pulled up on the originals and the new ones, They felt the same as far as restriction goes. Put new shocks on... No difference, the originals were functioning fine.

Your sagging: Shocks do not support the car at all they just dampen the springs so you don't bounce down the road. So look elsewhere for the sag issue.

Any clunking coming from the rear when accelerating or slowly going over speed bumps? If yes, then look at your Trailing Arm Bushings. They get tired about every 150K miles.
