Vacuum madness 700 1987

Hi again folks,

While tinkering outside this morning (it had rained earlier, so I couldn't do much unless I wanted to get really muddy), one of the tasks I had set for myself was to figure out the maze of vacuum hoses leading to the carbon canister - most notably the 3/8" hose that leads from the T-connector under the intake manifold (one part of the T goes to the cabin/climate controls, I think) and goes underneath the airbox intake.

I'm totally confused. Where does it go? I felt around and it's underneath the front air dam. There's a mystery hose that goes to the bottom of the carbon canister, is that it?

How do I remove the carbon canister?

Ari (who is confused)
