1991 AC condensor blower 200

O.K. What is up with the AC condenser blower? There is nothing written in any of the books, that I can find. I have reason to believe my blower, or fan (the one that sits out in front of the condenser and radiator) has stopped working. It never seems to turn. Is it the motor? A fuse? A relay? Before I plop down 250 clams for a new unit is there anything I can do to make sure there is something else?
