Wrong amperage fuse 700 1987

The purpose of a fuse is for it to blow (break because it gets too hot) to prevent damage to other parts, and wires.
The fuse ratings are the maximum sustained amperage the circuit can safely carry without melting wires or damaging parts.
A 15A fuse (15 amps) will normally blow within a few seconds of having more than 15A flowing through it. Putting in a 30A fuse defeats the purpose of the fuse and can be dangerous if you get melting wiring or something.
The only time the fuse should blow is if something is wrong, shorting out, damaged, etc.

As long as everything works perfectly, a 30A fuse won't hurt anything, but fuses exist as a fail-safe and only really do anything when everything is not working perfectly.

put a 15 amp fuse in there ASAP. Find out what the fuse # is and what runs off of it.

Good question,
Good luck,
Good Bye,
-Will
