$4000 isn't what I would call a ripoff for a PRISTINE 89 wagon. If it's in great condition 4K is a steal if you'll only drive a pristine car, if you really don't care about looks you could putt around for less than a grand like I do. Getting a beater 240 to pristine cosmetic interior and exterior condition will cost more than 4k if you can't do it yourself.
