brake bleeding help - Part II 700 1991

Well, I finally got around to bleeding the brakes in my 1991 745 tonight. After all was said and done (with my new Power Bleeder), the fluid was flushed and back up to the Max line in the MC, lo and behold a soft pedal is my reward.

Where is the justice in this world...?

Slight Rewind: I put in new rotors and pads in the front and a new caliper on the RF side. Naturally, the fluid was depleted on that caliper after replacement, so I bled that side first (another thread on that is further down the page). This caused me to bleed the fronts before the rears - could that have affected something?

Anyway, shall I go about and repeat the procedure, this time by starting with the LR side and working my way CCW around the car as the FAQ states? And: Is there really air in the system or is my MC buggered?
