Door check/ door stay 200 1992

Good afternoon, fellow Bricksters! First, I have to tell everyone on the board that the new to the family '92 Wagon passed the state Safety inspection! When I bought her, she needed strut mounts, ball joints, wheel bearings and an ABS wheel sensor. Long and short of it, I took her in yesterday, and the biggest issue they had was the clamp I put on to seal up an exhaust leak, but she passed!

Now on to the problem of the day: The doors on the wagon seem 'worn out'- they don't have the ability to 'stay' like my sedan. I am looking at the 'j hook' and the two tension wheels and see that they are not on the notched side like in the sedan but circled around to the smooth side. Is there an easy adjustment to get them to increase tension? I really like the firm pop the sedan has when I open and close the door, makes me feel like the door won't close on my leg in a high wind. I appreciate the guidance!, Regards, Greg
