Flame Trap Relocation Kit Problem 200 1985

In March of this year, I purchased the Flame Trap Relocation Kit from IPD. I have no problems with them nor am I upset by the failure of the kit. This is just a heads-up to anyone who has one of these kits. The relocation hose (5/8" ID) split at the oil seperator, and caused the engine to puke oil all over the side of the engine and the garage floor. This hose has 2 Blue Stripes, and is identified as: VOLVO 949701 o14 1134 07W04 Sweden.

As I said, I'm not whizzed at the guys at IPD, and in fact I contacted them to let them know of the problem, and that I had replaced the hose with one purchased locally, and am not expecting a replacement hose, nor any compensation. I'm just letting everyone who has one know of the weak hose that you may have.
