Replacement procedure, front hub/bearing 700 1991

Thanks to everyone who posted the info about Tasca Volvo for genuine Volvo parts at insanely low prices.

I need to replace one of my front hub assemblies. It is on a 1991 745T, with ABS. The hub/reluctor(for ABS)/bearing assembly is one piece, but does not include the brake rotor, so maybe it is what you guys call a "later two-piece" hub.

In any case, I've read the FAQ about installing it, and am wondering what the exact procedure is, and if I should be worrying about the bearings falling out during installation. It seems like just a simple procedure of pulling the tire/wheel, then the caliper, then taking off the axle nut. Pop off the old hub assembly (well, "pop-off" may be a bit simpler than reality here, but . . .). Then clean up the axle spindle, and push the new bearing/hub on, then, according to the FAQ:

"For the later 1988+ series hubs, tighten the axle nut slowly, so that axial play just disappears (Volvo Manual). Then tighten the nut to 73.8 pound/feet (100 Nm). Then, angle tighten to 45 degrees, using a protractor. Install the new cap, and you're done." Brickboard FAQ

Is this all correct for a 1991 740 with ABS? If so, and if my optimism about getting the old hub off pays off, then the whole shebang should be a quick job, right? Say about 1/2 hour to an hour, right?

Are there any dangers of getting stranded somehow, and being unable to complete the job?
