Need to replace window regulator but it is rivited in hmm 700 1992

I just bought the above mentioned car. It seems as if the window regulator has self distructed and I will need to replace it. It is rivited in. So, what size of bit to I want to drill it out and when I get a replacement regulator can I use a bolt instead of a screw to hold the thing in? Thanks for any information. Nick.
