strange electrical behavior ... 200 1986

My 1986 245 is coming together nicely, now I am troubleshooting the annoying little things.

First is my radio. I wired it into the fuse block to the fuse labeled Radio (#1 maybe?) and thought it strange that it wasn't switched. After a few days, it turned off with the ignition. So, it is switched. Now, sometimes it turns off with the ignition, and sometimes it doesn't - but the big quirk is if it does turn off with the ignition, with the keys out, when I open the driver's door, it will sometimes come back on. But I cannot get it to repeat the behavior when I jiggle the door switch.

I don't even know where to begin with this one.

Thanks,

Jeff
