Bought a 1971 1800E for $800 today 1800 1971

Good score!

You say it runs... how well does it run? '71 is a great year, and hopefully still has its original engine and fuel injection. And a M41.

You might, if you get bored... try a thorough wet sand with 600 or so grit, then some serious polishing on that paint. Hard to say from here if that would help though.

And... for the record, it's not a 'P1800'.. the P designation was dropped at the end of the Jensen cars run. After that, its 1800S, until the introduction of fuel injection in 1970. Then it became 1800E. And that's what you have.

Congratulation! Enjoy it!
