Worn out idle adjustment screw/seat on B20E 1800

Hello,
I just replaced my air intake manifold with a polished replacement for my 71 B20E motor. I've traced a vacumn leak to a worn out seat that the idle adjustment screw fits into. My origional idle adj screw will not seat in the polished manifold.
After spending all that time polishing the intake manifold, I realy want to use it. I would like to repair, plug or "rig" the idle adjustment system to compensate for the inability to properly seat and seal the adjustment screw.
Does anyone have and suggestions please?
