HMRC has been in more or less continuous operation since the Summer of 1976. Somewhat surprising that you hadn't heard of it, as it was the site of some nationally known series races in the 1980's. For instance, I clearly remember watching a IMSA BFG Radial Challenge races at Hallett during that era.
