Is 8 litres of synthetic ATF enough for a flush? 700 1989

I had previously done a flush on my 740T but I can't remember how many litres of ATF I had used(!). The trans needs 7.5 litres.

I have just bought 8 litres of rather expensive synthetic ATF and I am just wondering if all 8 litres would be just sufficient to 'push' all the old fluid out?

I am loathe to spend another AU$65 bucks buying four more litres of synthetic.

Lend me your thoughts.
