Check engine light 200 1991

Crank angle sensor and AMM codes are different, what code(s) were read? Was the code cleared, does it come back? Before throwing parts at a problem complete the diagnosis. You can easily test and clear codes yourself. See the FAQ section, same procedure for 700 or 200. Clear the codes and see if it comes back. Any symptoms while driving?

The "door" is not on the AMM it is in the air cleaner box. The thermostatically controlled door diverts hot preheated air to the amm only during warm up. If it sticks it can cook the amm.
