1975 164 140-160

The "only" thing wrong with the 164 was the BW35 tranny, a 3 speed. So mpg was not that good, about 18 on the highway and 16 around town.
I liked my 1975. The front seats were so far gone that I found a nice pair at a pick&pull for $18 each, took them home and threw the cloth in the wash machine and would up with very comfortable heated seats. The 164 came with the driver's seat heated.

Parts are fairly easy to get. I got new valve springs from IPD, they race a 164 up there :)

Nice comfortable ride, and you can see the fenders from the driver's seat.

I still miss my 164 and my 854T. Just driving a V70R :)
