Volvo 940 Turbo will not acelerate past 2000 RPM's Will shut off after warm 900 1991

My Volvo 940 turbo will not acelarate past 2000 RPM's. i have repaleced the in tank fuel pump, all fuel lines, exterior fuel pump and filter. She idles rough. When the problem began, she would not restart after a brief stop at the market and I assumed there was a fuel prblem as there was no fuel reaching the fuel rail. I changed the exterior pump and she started. The car ran, but would not go past 2000 RPM's. At that point, I changed the in tank pump. The problem remained. I thentyhought it may have been the french after-market fuel pump and went back with the O.E.M. external unit. She has great pressure, but will not go past 2000 R.P.M.'s. At this point, all I have is the fuel pressure regulator. What are your thoughts....mike in Ocala Florida
