SC-815 Radio Bulb Procedure 900

I decided to remove the radio and see if I can replace 2 bulbs that have burned out. WOW, those instructions on Matt's website help out but he is missing a few key points...First of all, you have to be very careful when prying the outer plastic tabs. As with all the plastic pieces on this old Volvo, they are EXTREMELY BRITTLE!!! I ended up breaking the side tabs...oops...then you have to remove the bass, treble, and fader buttons along with the volume knob, and he misses that point. Then, once you get it loose, it looks like his radio front comes off with the PCB attached to the front...well, it ain't so. The front housing comes off, but the PCB ia attached with 2 screws on either side of the LCD display, and then there are 4 metal tabs that hold the PCB on, and they are twisted, so you have to take a pair of needlenose pliers and straighten them out to pull the PCB. Anyway, hope this helps anyone trying to get their radio apart. Just my 2 cents worth. David
