Idle problem 200 1992

I think it might be that your IAC is bad. Test it with an ohm meter per the instructions in your bentley manual. When you turn on your a/c the IAC should open up and increase the idle to compensate for the added load on the engine. The high idle when the a/c is off could be from the IAC sticking open. Just be sure to test it before you buy a new one because a new IAC is about $180. Or maybe you could find one at a junkyard.
