Installed a sport exhaust... and my idle speed is now higher? 120-130

I just put a Simons sport exhaust on my wagon with the B20F and Mikunis.
The idle speed is probably 150 RPM higher now, does this sound normal?

The car had a stock factory exhaust on it. I'm wondering if the old muffler might have collapsed inside and gotten plugged.

Acceleration is a lot quicker off the line; I would have expected something to happen only at higher RPM's; the car accelerated so fast I scared myself when I took it out for a test drive...
