'87 745T AC hose update? 700

The new compressor to drier hose has apparently been updated, it is much shorter and does not run under the front of the engine to the passenger side with a convoluted aluminum tube connecting to the drier.

Anyone have experience with the updated hose? P/N 1348538

Parts suppliers photos indicate the '89-92 hose assembly matches in appearance.

I'll take another look this AM for a possible re-routing.
