Odometer Problems 200 1991

Since you don't care about the harness at the PnP, bring wire cutters to disconnect the Cluster from the car. ALSO make sure the car you are working on has the steering wheel straight. Or the cluster wont slide out.

You will need #2 Phillips head screwdriver and a small regular screwdriver to help pop out the Blank panels on either side of the Cluster.

Pull the Light switch knob and the Dimmer knob straight off. The Dimmer one is tough but they just pull off.

Small screwdriver pry the Light switch panel off and the two square panels on the other side of the cluster. After you get them off, you can see how they attach so you can be gentle while getting yours off your car.
Now take out the 4 screws Note how the metal piece by the door comes off with the screws.

Pull the cluster out toward you and pushing a little more with your right hand to expose the harnesses on that side, Pull the few single wires off and just cut the two big harnesses.

It should then slide out toward the center of the car.

After it's out, look at the three wire connector at teh Speedo to see how the white plastic attaches.. It's hard to figure out when it's in teh Dash and you can't see anything. Also note the Keying of teh other two larger harnesses.

That's what I remmeber..hope it helps
