When did the front seat design change in the 940 series? 900 1994

I have removed the seats in this 1994 944T.

It is fitted with the original fabric covers and they are getting a trip through the washing machine.

My experience is limited to 240 seats. The seats in this car have a rigid styrofoam form on the back of the upright portion of the seat(perhaps this will aid in identifying them).

I would like to find a passenger's seat back foam cushion to replace the one in the driver's seat of my car as it is starting to break down. Can you tell me what years the 940 was supplied with seats like these?
