update for all you gracious bricksters responding to my tail light issues...a volvo bedtime story 200 1988

OMG - whatta story.

Get thyself this book - Volvo Service Manual Wiring Diagrams 240, 1987-1988 part number TP31076/1 3000.04.88 and read every part in there that has to do with any of those circuits.

That part number may have changed over time, just be sure the book you gets covers the 1987-1988 240.

Call 1-800-25-VOLVO or got to www.volvetechinfo.com. Eight goes to Ken Cook Publishing. OR you might run an ad here in classifieds for a "want to buy", or have a look in eBay, or look in the classifieds of "Rolling" magazine.

Skip Albright, a fellow brickster in Albany, NY used to make a market in many of the "Green Books", as the Volvo Service Manuals are called. See if there are any of his posts in Archives under screen name Skipskip.

Good Luck,

Bob

PS: Find another tech, one who cares for doing good clean work and customer satifaction (car fully assembled when returned to owner).
