If you knew the head gasket thickness we could use the solder method as a rough guide, but its not very accurate due to a number of factors, piston rock, carbon buildup, etc.
Also remember to check more than one cylinder ( opposite block ends ) as it is not unusual to have a .005 variation.
Suggesting that you wait until just before the head is ready to ship before pulling your head to reduce down time.
