What brakes Do I Have ? What Pads To Get ? 700

1988 740GLE Wagon. Lately when I brake at slow slow speeds(say under 15mph)my brakes sqeak. So I plan on replacing both front & rear pads. What type brakes do I have front & rear on this car so as I know what to order ?? Also what would be best choice for pads - organic, metal, or ceramic ? I drive highway about 1/2 the time and local other 1/2. Thanks for advice & help with this.
