AC problem 900

My 1998 v90 AC stops blowing air if I accelerate faster than my grandmother. Once I let off the gas pedal, the AC blower comes back on. I had the part in the dash replaced 1 year ago and the compressor 2 years ago. When it blows, it is cold. I guess with gas so expensive, it is good to accelerate slowly but it is driving me crazy. What could be the problem? Someone suggested a high pressure problem, but in the past my high pressure sensor has gone out leaving the AC to not work at all. Thanks for any leads.
