Take the screws out of the plastic upper/lower cover and you will expose the turn/dimmer on the left and the wiper switch on the right. Each is held by two philips head screws. With the cover off, move the lever and see if the switch just floats around (tighten the two screws that are often loose) or not. If you need a switch - donors can be 1983-87 760, all 740 and 940 with cruise control.
