Pet Gate Instructions Needed 200 1993

Sent e-mail also.

Easy install if type that mounts just above the rear windows. The down side of pet barrier is that it is to be permanent, and you will have holes in headliner, and upholstery if you remove pet barrier. That said, I don't have printed OEM instruction, but this is how I installed mine: You should have 2 mounting bolts/washers for side attachment to roof line, 2 clips to hold barrier up when not in use, 2 brackets to latch barrier to top of rear seat back, when in use. With rear seat back in up position, feel along the head liner, just above where the headliner attaches, in line with back of rear seat for the mounting bracket ( you should be able to feel the hole where the bolt goes). I pressed real hard to make a depression in the headliner. Did same on opposite side. Once located, I used a small screwdiver to puncture the headliner in the center of the depression (where the bolts go). Attach pet barrier, so it swings up towards the rear of the wagon. Once attached, located position on top of rear seat where the barrier latches. The back of the rear seat (where the carpeted area is) is plywood. Use a small nail/ or drill to make starter holes (into the plywood, and upholstery) for latch brakets. Attach latch brackets. You may want to test location (latch to back of seat with out brackets secured) before you make holes in the upholstery. Again feel along headliner (same area as before) for the location of the side clip mounting bracket. These are smaller, but once you find them you'll know. Again, feel for the holes for the screws that attach the side clips. Make the depression, puncture headliner with nail/drill bit where the screw goes, and secure side clips. Voila ! Pet barrier installed !
