No Start Problem 700

I got a boneyard fuse block. Looks like a huge job to replace it. Probably better off just checking some of the connectors.

I've now gone through the whole starting circuit: New ignition switch and battery. Checked cable continuity to the positive terminal. Checked neutral safety switch and wiring. Everything checks out OK. There's nothing in the circuit left to check other than the starter itself.

New wrinkle. Any sort of load brings the idiot lights on the dash back on. This condition typically only shows the ABS and possibly the brake bulb light. I thought it might have had something to do with the rear brake lights as at some point in the car's life someone did a poor rewiring job of the rear lights after an accident.

I'm inclined to just go after the wiring harness in the engine compartment. These cars had the stupid vegetable oil insulated wires. A bad ground or a short could be the source of my issues. This problem will be finding it.
