88 240DL Wagon - Instrument Cluster and wiring question 200 1988

1988 240 Wagon
Recently replaced odometer gear, checking over wiring I came across a question regarding the instrument cluster
(I have the same instrument cluster as seen in fellow Brickboarder's Eric S.'s web page image www.homestead.com/volvo2/88speedo.html)
The Orange wire appears to power the lights but Im not sure I reconnected it correctly. From the back of the cluster, at about 10 o'clock on the speedometer, there are 2 brass looking male plugs, some have said dont use one or the other, where should the orange plug go?
I also see the Red and White wire, understand that is the tach and NOT to use (since mine is not equipped.
So currently on my cluster I have the round plastic wire connection, the moon sliver shaped connection, a yellow/red wire, and the orange - Could someone please give me some insight on the orange & red/yellow. GREATLY appreciated.
