What to do with 1994 960 900 1994

The serpentine belt on my 94 960 sedan started to come apart and wrapped around the lower gear for the timing belt, between the timing belt and the gear. The car stalled out and won’t restart. A local shop said that the timing belt & tensioner should be replaced and then there is a good chance that the push rods might be bent. They want far more money than I’m willing to but into this vehicle and I doubt if I have the skills to tackle this repair job myself.

In the past year I have replaced the radiator, battery, alternator, neutral-safety switch and all of the A/C parts including the compressor, dryer/receiver and A/C lines. I have also replaced numerous interior electrical switches, i.e. windows & sun roof. My question is; what to do with the vehicle now? Other than the fact that it doesn’t run it is in good shape. I’d hate to see it go to a scrap yard and rust away. Does anyone on this list have an interest in this vehicle? Are there any suggestions as to what I should do with it? Is there someone who salvages Volvos for parts?
