Hey All .. Having trouble with my ol'girl

She turns over ok, but wont start up ... if i pump the gas pedal alot she trys to kick in but seems to be starved of gas ..

It had this problem a couple of times recently and all the emergency roadside assistance guy did was wiggle some wires around the fuse box..

He told me it may have blocked injectors or a dead plug, because when started he says it was running rough.

It seems that cold starting it was ok ... but drive it to the local shops and stop it, and it once again it would not start.

I have good voltage on left hand side of my fuse box and the fuel relay is clicking in when the ingnition is on ..

My wife has lost confidence with it but i would love to get it going again.

Any suggestions welcomed.. i think i will start by checking the ground from the back of the ignition switch (i read a post that suggested this could give me trouble)
