Volvos Assembled in Nova Scotia

Hi .... Ole Reliable , my 122, is a Halifax assembled car and is a "Canadian" not an "Amazon" ... and has trunk badging to that effect .... I have also seen 240 and 140 series cars with under hood stickers ... red on white I think stating "Assembled in Canada". I know that some 700 series cars were assembled here as the plant was in production until just before the Ford takeover ... never could figure out why the profitable Halifax plant was closed but suspect it was part of the package for the Ford deal.
