Need advice regarding S90 (Long!) S90-V90

I have to agree with Tom's assessment. I would go with a '93 - '95 940 non-turbo. I like the turbos but a young person might need something a bit slower. I had a '93 that is still humming along fine for my daughter at close to 200,000 miles. The 4 cylinder is almost indestructable - even if it was not well cared for.

The 850/V70 might be a good choice too. My 18 yr old son is in a V70 that my wife handed down to him. It's at about 188,000 mi. No problems whatsoever. My wife now has a '98 S90. It's nice but not made like the earlier 4 cyls. The 940 and S70 both look better than the 740 and will be more reliable in my experience.
