Got the cluster out... 700 1992

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the kind words. I have the cluster with the speedo removed right next to me. I happened to have some new 105 degree C 220 uF caps in my parts box, so I was good on that front. I'll keep an eye out for bad solder joints. I don't have a turbo, so I am not 'blessed' with the vacuum hose for the boost gauge. I bet that could be a lot of fun though... Since my car is a '92, it has a different cluster than the '8x-90 cars. Its the same as a 940. I found that there are two metal clips that secure the bezel at the bottom, and need to be removed from underneath by removing the switch panels on either side of the steering column. Then the spring clip will release the bezel from the sides with a push from a screwdriver. Until I took those bottom clips out, I was swearing up a storm, lol. Thanks again for the help.
