Are you talking about the header pipe? It goes between the exhaust manifold and the catylitic convertor. Otherwise I don't know what pipe you are talking about. If that is the pipe that you mean, soak the bolts down with PB Blaster several times, and then (depending on which year) 3 nuts that hold the flange to the manifold, and two that hold the pipe to the reinforcment bar that is bolted to the bell housing, and then 3 more that hold the head pipe and the convertor together. IPD has them and the gaskets as well. There has been some discussion about the Starla-Walker brand vs the OEM Volvo part. I'm sure that there will be more discussion regarding this issue.

The head pipe is not difficult to work with, but you will need a good jack and either jack stands, or ramps. A lift is better, but most of us don't have one.
