Heat shrink fuel line 200

I changed my fuel filter and accidentally made a hole in the fuel line at the edge of the barbs on the banjo bolt on the out side of the filter. I might have enough slack to cut out the bad section since it is only a little over an inch and reattach the barbed thingy.
However, can someone give me instructions on how to safely attach the fuel line to the barbs?
