I'm going along through this sedan, thought I'd check the timing, never been done, and I've found many wierd things POs/mechanics have done.

Timing showed about 8 degrees BTDC, which, after I thought about it, was where a mechanic would set it in relation to the 10 degree mark if he thought the engine was going backwards?

So, I losened the set screw, and, the distributor would not budge. Soaked it in PB blaster, nothing. Should I just soak and leave it sit over night? Do these things, if not touched for awhile, sieze? I've never had this happen to any other Volvo I've owned.
