Passing on a caution 120-130

Yes, it's another warning about my favorite love/hate place - eBay!

Seriously, though I am not trying to make this into an eBay complaint board, but I wanted to pass on a warning about a guy named Dennis in Pennsylvania. I see that several people have bought parts from him since I initially won my item and that feedback has been very lukewarm. I don't want to see anyone from the BB get burned while I'm trying to hash out my dispute with the guy.

The issue is that I won a full AC setup in an uncontested auction. The guy is confused as to why my bids did not increase the auction price (with no competing bidder) and is refusing to ship me the AC setup until eBay explains how bidding works.

I suspect he plans to skip out on the sale and try and re-list the setup with a new higher price. I've got low hopes of ever getting my AC, but I'll handle that myself.

I just want to let any of you who are thinking of buying from this guy that he does not appear to know what he is selling and that he is confused by the most basic bidding process. If you want to buy from him, bid at your own peril.

I'll give additional details and the seller ID via private e-mail but I'm not going to post that info publicly.
