Fuel Pump 700 1990

Hey Guys:

I've gotten all the hoses off my 1990 740 intank fuel pump (one of small hoses tore, but I can splice it), I've removed the screwed covering cap. The electrical wires are attached on the pump housing. Now how on earth do you pull out the pump? Is there a trick to it? Is there some way to remove the main (large) fuel hose that enters the tank? It is dead in the way. I can't grab the pump housing to pull it off. I've been dealing with this for over a week. HELP!!!!
