B20 head studs 140-160

Thanks to you all for this information.
The engine in this car, 1970 142S, is an unknown quantity. I have just had the head 'freshened up'(new guides, seats recut/valves re-faced). The valves are not standard Volvo items, it is thought they might be Holden (GM Australia) items (exhausts 36.5mm, inlets 43mm with a lot thicker stems, 9mm)with double valve springs. The ports have been worked extensively. The bores look OK so at this point I will run it with just the head cleaned up - any other suggestions? The original carbs were Strombergs but I have changed them to HS6 SU's.
