Hello,
Having this problem repeat itself again.
On hot days 90+ while driving down the highway
the car suddenly cuts off and after it cools
down it starts right up.

The FAQ says it might be the Ignition Amplifier (power stage ignition module ),
but I only find this item on 1989+ 240 models.

What part does the Ignition Amplifier replace on earlier models.


All advice is appreciated.
